Anxiously Engaged

in a very good cause (okay. . . so I'm allowed to be corny right now). I think I've gotten ahold of the people who would be offended if they found out through my blog that I was getting married (zak-- i've tried you a million times)!!! WOOHOO! So it looks like B-honey and Annie-j are gettin' hitched in St. George on Oct 13th. I am SOOOO excited!!!

Salmon run!!

I accomplished the Alaskan dream. I smoked my very own Alaskan Salmon (I even invented some very interesting brines). I went to Juneau yesterday. A very unique city. I ended up letting the nurse talk me into a hot pink cast and thouroughly regretted it. I tried to paint over it today with primer, but now I just look silly and smell like paint. I've realized I do strange impulsive things.

More adventure in Alaska

On Brians last shift I convinced my boss to let me go up there and work (to hike to sheep camp). The trail had flooded so much that the water pushed the rocks and moulders under one of the bridges> The water was then flowing over the bridge quite forcefully. B and I put on the waders and went to work digging the rocks out.

We biked to the Chilkat State Park. One of the most beautiful bike rides of my life!

On the ferry on the way to Haines-- a small true alaskan town not catered to tourists (skagway is very touristy). It was amazing!

We hiked up mnt Ripinsky on our trip tp Haines. It was beautful and sunny and we picked an entire Nalgene of blueberries! Here we are sporttin' our stained hands.
