This Halloween I went to a Stake Party with Brian. . .he dressed up in my mini yellow shorts and long socks and went as a 70s track star. I didn't have too much time to be creative, so I went as a Ranger. When we got there, they had a "Fear Factor" contest to see who could stand on top of a block of ice barefoot holding an onion in their mouths (this is a two person contest) for the longest. Well, the record was 7 minutes, so B and I rocked it at 25 mins. Then A couple decided to out-do us and stayed on for 26 minutes. Knowing that a $30 gift certificate to Cafe Rio was at stake (and our ice blocking onion holding pride), we once again mounted the ice and remained on for 26 1/2 minutes, winning the prize. Brian also won the cow-tounge toss, giving us another $15 to Cafe Rio. So yesterday after we climbed Mt. Olympus, we had an amazing victory dinner-- one of those times you just get whatever the heck you want, unbutton the top button and feast. Ahhhh.
