One tenth of Mexico lives in the U.S.

A vezes tengo antojo por algo especial. Ayer, encontre una tienda mexicana que se vende tortillas de mano por 99 centavos. Ahora, la unica cosa que quiero es no ser una extranjera hasta en mi propia pias. Me entiendes? Fui a mi clase de cultura y historia de latin America-- aun mi texto es en espanol! La lectura, el profesor-- todo! Que emocion!

dang it. i just left a post and it didnt work. all i said was that what is this in spanish for? i had to take it to a translater on dictionary.com. man. but i KIND of understood it. those things dont work so well.

I was just reading last night about how there are 10 million Mexicans living north of the border. Another intersting tidbit: In 1970 the average Mexican woman had 6.8 children. By 2000 it was down to 2.23. Interesting...It's so nice to get the information out of my head every once in a while!

so you want to be a foreigner and eat 99 cent tortillias for the rest of your life. excellent.

my classes are full of outdoor fun and english text - go figure. i just finished petitioning for double majors and we'll see what happens next. they say it will be a week unitl i can find out.
