The oldest person I know

My grandpa is three years shy of 90. He was born in 1920 and has a passion for photography and family history. He has written several books, including his personal history which is six volumes long and is probably the most 'modern' 87-year-old around (check out the Mac in the background). Some interesting facts I learned today: his brothers were "school mates with Gordy" (aka: Gordon B. Hinkley), he was the first to summit Timp with a transistor radio(1939) which he carried all the way to the top (they're big) and he was the first on his ship to hear the news that WWII had ended through an old radio.

As rode home on my bike, the crisp autum wind blowing and the yellow leaves swirling around me, I thought about my season of life and his. . .

This post made me think about my grandpa. Grandpa's do the neatest stuff! I think being older will be fun, in a no-stress-done-it-all-before-kinda-way. Ty and I decided that when I'm old, my color will be purple (purple hair, jumpsuit, dishes). By the way, I like the picture mucho, it looks very CRISP.

A Beta Blog is the newer version of blogs made by blogger. In programming, when a new type of program is first released to the public it is called "Beta" or in other words, it's in the second stage; being test-run by the public. During the Beta stage lots of bugs are worked out before having an "official" release to the public.

You forgot to mention that you can't escape grandpa's house without him taking a picture of you and probably printing it off. And without a heart-felt interview of YOU. He always sat me down and asked me all sorts of questions about how I was doing. No one else I know ever does that.

Love you, and grandpa too.

Angela-
I know that it sounds childish, but I really believe that, if faced against one another in a true man-to-man combat, that my grandpa could beat up your grandpa.
Oh Angela, Mary and I finally hooked up! I also taught my sock puppet how to pronounce his vowel sounds.
